You will report directly to the Director of Research and Innovation. The Innovation Unit works to strengthen Region Uppsala's innovation capacity and contribute to the development, testing, and dissemination of new ideas, work methods, products, and services.\n\nYour Assignment\n\nAs an innovation project manager, you will, among other things, support operations in identifying needs, formulating project ideas, and developing solutions. You will contribute to ensuring that innovation projects are planned, executed, monitored, and evaluated in a structured manner and create conditions for testing and implementing new work methods, services, products, and processes. Furthermore, you will coordinate contacts between operations, researchers, companies, academia, patients, residents, and other relevant stakeholders. You will plan and conduct training, workshops, and other knowledge-building initiatives in innovation management and renewal, as well as provide methodological support to managers and employees in innovation processes and development work.\n\nYour Qualifications\nWe are seeking someone who has:\n\n\u2022 relevant academic education in, for example, healthcare, technology, social sciences, economics, behavioral sciences, design, innovation, operations development, or another area that the employer deems relevant\n\n\u2022 experience in project management, operations development, or change management\n\n\u2022 experience with innovation work in healthcare, dentistry, life sciences, the public sector, or other knowledge-intensive operations\n\n\u2022 excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish\n\nYou preferably have experience with:\n\n\u2022 work with test environments, pilot projects, needs analysis, service design, or user involvement\n\n\u2022 collaboration between public operations, academia, business, and civil society\n\n\u2022 monitoring, evaluation, and dissemination of development initiatives\n\n\u2022 supporting managers and operations in early and uncertain development processes\n\n\u2022 work at the intersection of research, innovation, digitalization, operations development, and clinical practice\n\nYour Competencies\nTo succeed in this role, you need to be structured and collaboration-oriented. You have the ability to create direction in matters where the target picture, solution, and implementation are not always predetermined from the start.\nYou are comfortable leading processes with multiple perspectives and can build trust with managers, employees, researchers, companies, and external partners. You have strong communication skills and can translate complex issues into understandable decisions, activities, and next steps.
