Our goal is also to be an attractive employer that reflects society and has a focus on a safe work environment, with trustworthy, confident, and inclusive leaders and employees.\n\nRescue Service Sk\u00e5ne Nordv\u00e4st consists of approximately 355 employees (full-time and on-call) distributed across 10 fire stations in Helsingborg, Bjuv, \u00c4ngelholm, \u00d6rkelljunga, and B\u00e5stad.\n\n6 position(s).\n\nWORK TASKS\nRescue Service Sk\u00e5ne Nordv\u00e4st is seeking firefighters for permanent employment at our full-time stations in Helsingborg and \u00c4ngelholm.\n\nA full-time firefighter in operational emergency response primarily works by preparing through training, drills, additional skills development, and carrying out rescue operations during fires and accidents. In addition, you work with fire prevention toward society and citizens through information, education, and outreach activities both before and after an incident occurs.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nSMO training, two years with a passing grade, or older training programs directed toward full-time work.\n\nOn-call training with at least four years of experience, or at least two years of experience from full-time work.\n\nWalking test: 4.5 km\/h and strength (see list of test locations on MCF's website). Certificate must be attached to application, maximum six months old.\n\nSwimming proficiency: Guldb\u00e5ge (Swedish Lifesaving Society). Certificate must be attached to application, maximum 12 months old.\n\nDriver's license category B. Category C is desirable.\n\nCopy of driver's license must be attached to application. Upon permanent employment, you must present a Category C license within six months of the employment start date.\n\nPersonal qualities:\n\nAs a firefighter at RSNV, you should have an open personality, good social competence, interest in working with people, ability to work in a team, initiative, interest in learning and developing yourself, and practical skills.
