You will have the opportunity to work broadly within accounting and take responsibility for parts of the entire accounting process. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with other members of the finance department.\nYour responsibilities as an accounting economist include:\nOngoing accounting and reconciliations\nManagement of accounts payable\nManagement of accounts receivable\nPreparation of monthly financial statements\nParticipation in annual financial statements and annual reports\nTax and income declarations\nAccruals and other closing-related tasks\nFinancial reporting and preparation of financial documents\nEstablishment and development of procedures and processes\nProviding support on accounting and finance-related matters to managers and employees in the organization\nOther routine accounting tasks\nParticipation in the development and improvement of accounting processes and systems\n\nThe role is broad and offers you the opportunity to take responsibility based on your experience and skills, while also allowing you to develop further in accounting and finance.\nWork Location: Kalmar\nQualifications\nWe are looking for someone with post-secondary education in economics, preferably with a focus on accounting, and a few years of relevant work experience following your economics studies.\nYou have built a foundation in accounting and want to continue developing in a broad and business-oriented role.\nWe would like you to have:\nExperience with ongoing accounting and reconciliations\nUnderstanding of the entire accounting process\nGood experience with accounting systems\nGood Excel skills\nInterest in systems, digitalization, and development of accounting processes\nVery good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written\n\nMeritorious:\nExperience with monthly and annual financial statements\nExperience with annual reports\nExperience with tax and income declarations\nExperience with Fortnox, as we work in that system\n\nAs a person, you have a head for numbers and value good relationships and service, both internally and externally.\nFlexibility, attention to detail, and structure are natural parts of your work style.
