As principal, you will be a key person in creating good conditions for teaching, care, work environment, and goal achievement. You report directly to the school director and are part of the school director's management team.\nResponsibilities\nAs principal of Grythyttans School and Preschool, you will:\nLead, coordinate, and develop pedagogical work.\nBe responsible for operations, staff, work environment, finances, and results.\nDrive systematic quality work through follow-up, analysis, and development.\nCreate good conditions for staff development, participation, and collaboration.\nBe a clear and present leader for children, students, guardians, and staff. Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with the Education Act, curricula, and other governing documents.\nWork actively for safety, good order, equality, and inclusion.\nCollaborate with student health services, administration, unions, and other stakeholders.\n\nQualifications\nWe are looking for someone who has:\nA teaching degree.\nAt least five years of experience working as a qualified teacher.\nGood knowledge of school and preschool governance documents.\nGood ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.\nAbility to lead, organize, and develop pedagogical activities.\nA professional and solution-focused approach.\nGood collaboration skills and ability to build trustful relationships.\nA clear child and student perspective.\nDriver's license (category B).\n\nMeritorious\nIt is advantageous if you have:\nCompleted or begun principal training\/principal program.\nPrevious experience in leadership roles, such as assistant principal, team leader, lead teacher, or other pedagogical leadership position.\nExperience with systematic quality work and operational development.\nExperience working in both school and preschool settings.\n\nTerms\nThe position is a permanent, full-time employment with a probationary period possible.
