You work closely with the operations and combine your pedagogical leadership with responsibility for staff, finances, contracts, and delivery.\n\nAn important part of the assignment is to ensure that our distance education programs are conducted in an equitable and quality manner in the locations where we operate. You monitor results and quality, identify development needs, and translate them into concrete improvements. You will have support from other rectors, administrators, and resources within the organization.\n\nThe role includes, among other things:\nLead and develop operations \u2013 set direction, follow up on results, and drive development based on the needs of the operations and students.\nLead staff \u2013 develop and follow up on personnel and be responsible for personnel-related matters.\nEnsure quality and results \u2013 be responsible for the implementation, quality, and goal achievement of distance education programs as well as follow-up with commissioning municipalities.\nBe responsible for contracts and delivery \u2013 ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable contracts, procedures, and instructions and that requested documentation is reported correctly and on time.\nDevelop our local presence \u2013 ensure that appropriate facilities are available based on the needs of the operations and contracts.\nDrive new establishments \u2013 lead and coordinate the start-up and implementation of new education contracts.\nBe responsible for apprenticeships and internships \u2013 when applicable, plan and organize the procurement of apprenticeship and internship positions and ensure quality and follow-up.\n\nWe are Looking for Someone Who:\nhas a university degree in education and has completed the state rector training program or is participating in an ongoing rector training program.\nhas at least two years of leadership experience with personnel and budget responsibility within the regular school system.\nExperience from adult education is a merit.\nYou also have documented results from previous leadership assignments, for example in quality improvement, goal achievement, operational development, or financial management.\nTo succeed in the role, you need to be a clear and inspiring leader who creates engagement and develops both staff and operations. You are strategic and analytical and have the ability to translate goals, results, and follow-up into concrete improvements.\nWe also see that you have experience with both procured operations and authorization systems.
