You will be part of a small team of engineers and be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electron microscopes in the Nordic region. Customers include research institutes in wood, metal, and pharmaceuticals as well as universities and colleges. The work involves travel throughout the Nordic region with many overnight stays. In the longer term, there may also be trips to JEOL's development and production units in Europe and Japan.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\nTo be considered for this position, you have a technical education at bachelor's level or higher, for example in electrical engineering, technical physics, or similar. If you have completed a vocational higher education in a relevant field, that is also relevant. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English and preferably a Nordic language.\n\nThe position requires a B-class driver's license and we prefer that you have access to a car. As a person, you are a quick learner, very technically interested, and passionate about technical problem-solving. Initially, you will travel with experienced colleagues, but over time you will work independently with JEOL's various customers. You therefore enjoy working independently but have no problem meeting different types of people, are service-oriented, and flexible.\n\nIt is highly meritorious if you have previously worked with support of technical equipment, such as various analytical instruments.
