You participate in the special quality reviews we conduct of auditors and registered audit firms that audit companies of public interest. We also work in teams there. We also conduct thematic supervision as an important part of preventive supervision. The purpose of the thematic supervision is to identify and highlight common challenges within the industry.\n\nThe Authority is now working with special focus on money laundering and economic crime, AI and digitalization, and the review of sustainability information. These are matters that you, as an auditor, may become involved in. Your work may also include representing the Audit Board Inspection externally toward the industry and in international contexts.\n\nQualifications and Characteristics\nYou have the following background:\n\u2022 Academic degree in economics.\n\u2022 Several years of experience as a qualified or approved auditor, or equivalent experience as an auditor in the public sector.\n\u2022 Broad knowledge of good auditing practices and procedures.\n\u2022 Knowledge of audit methodology, internationally recognized standards and norms.\n\u2022 Good insight into the design and application of regulations within the accounting field and you are up to date on regulations and practices that govern audit practice.\n\nYou have the following characteristics:\n\u2022 Work in a structured and independent manner when work tasks require it.\n\u2022 Are strategic in your work and can see complex wholes and connections.\n\u2022 Are driven, proactive, and take responsibility in your work and in the workplace.\n\u2022 Act with good judgment and high integrity.\n\u2022 Have excellent communication skills in both speech and writing in Swedish.\n\u2022 Enjoy working in teams and contribute to a good collaborative climate.\n\nMore About the Position\nThe position is a permanent full-time employment with individual salary setting. Start date is by agreement.\n\nOur office is located at a central address in Stockholm (Karlav\u00e4gen 104) and each employee has their own office. Our mission includes ensuring that good auditing practices develop in an appropriate manner in Sweden and that there are sufficient auditors in business and society who perform high-quality audits. The Audit Board Inspection also has an international commitment at the Nordic, European, and global level.\n\nThe Authority currently has 21 employees.
