Then this position might be for you!\nThe Radiology Department at Visby Hospital is its own operation with approximately 40 dedicated employees: radiologic technologists, nursing assistants, radiologists, and resident physicians. Together we perform about 43,000 examinations per year and meet patients of all ages.\nWorking with us means great variety, not least thanks to Gotland's geographical location and increased tourism during the summer, which gives a distinct character to our operation. We have close collaboration both within the hospital, with primary care, and with private actors.\nYour responsibilities\nAs a radiologic technologist with us, you work broadly with several different modalities and examination types. Ultrasound is performed in collaboration between physicians and nursing assistants.\nYou work according to a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.\nOn-call duty occurs:\nWeekdays after 21:10.\nWeekends and holidays after 19:00.\nWe work with Sectra RIS and PACS systems and have the following equipment:\nTwo CT scanners (Siemens Somatom go Top)\nTwo skeletal labs (Siemens)\nOne fluoroscopy and interventional lab (Siemens)\nOne mobile X-ray unit (Samsung) \u2013 primarily for ICU and pediatric ward\nOne MR (Philips, 1.5T)\n\nWho are you?\nYou who apply are a licensed radiologic technologist. You have good computer skills and master RIS\/PACS. We welcome both those with experience in the field and those who are newly graduated or early in your career who want to develop with us. If you are new to the profession, we offer thorough introduction and ongoing coaching so you quickly feel confident and settle into your role.\nFor us, it is important that you have a positive attitude toward your work, good ability to collaborate with different people in different professions, and can prioritize in acute and stressful situations.
