The department also works with objective-based management and monitoring as well as statistics for and analysis of the city's operations.\nWithin the department, the Security and Preparedness Unit is responsible for developing and monitoring the city's work in the areas of security, preparedness, and crime prevention at an overall level. The unit is responsible for, among other things, overall work with security and operational safety, leading the city's management of unwanted incidents, event security, the on-call officer function, internal control, and the city's insurance protection.\nThe City Office directs, challenges, and strengthens the development force in the organization, in the city, and in the region. We are the Municipal Executive Board's administration and work with a comprehensive perspective close to the city's leadership. The City Office consists of seven different departments and has a total of approximately 300 employees.
