Due to a planned retirement, we are now seeking a new colleague who can work within the Care and Social Services Committee's areas of responsibility.\n\n1 position(s).\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nWe are looking for someone who wants to be part of the Political Preparation and Coordination Unit and work as a specialist supporting the Care and Social Services Committee. The committee is responsible for the municipality's elderly care and services for people with disabilities, health and medical care including home healthcare from relevant care providers, housing adaptation and assistive devices, etc. The committee's responsibilities include, among other things, resource allocation, systematic quality monitoring, and public authority functions where the committee is the principal.\n\nThe assignment is broad and multifaceted, with the primary task of supporting politicians and coordinating issues in the committee's daily work through active dialogue with the municipality's operations and other stakeholders within the respective areas of responsibility.\n\nWork responsibilities include:\n\n- Ongoing contact with elected officials, municipal employees, and external parties such as representatives of independent service providers.\n\n- Planning committee meetings and annual plans, and when needed, serving as a presenter at committee meetings or in other political bodies.\n\n- Preparing and coordinating materials as a basis for political decisions within the committee's area of responsibility, including agreements between the committee and relevant divisions.\n\n- Preparing the committee's budget in cooperation with relevant parties, including calculations of volumes and compensation, as well as formulation of goals and special assignments, and following up on financial results and assignments.\n\n- Taking responsibility for certain overarching development issues, environmental monitoring, and analyses within the committee's area of responsibility.\n\nYou will also be involved in developing our internal work processes and procedures, as well as potentially other relevant work tasks within the unit that may be included in the position.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nWe are looking for someone who has:\n\n- Relevant university education or other qualifications the employer deems equivalent\n\n- Substantial experience within the committee's areas of responsibility\n\n- Good knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and similar\n\n- Good Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills\n\nIt is advantageous if you have:\n\n- Experience working as a project manager\/coordinator or in an equivalent role that the employer deems comparable\n\n- Experience working in a politically governed organization, primarily a municipality\n\n- Knowledge of budget work\/financial monitoring and similar\n\nWe are looking for someone interested in the municipality's role in society and especially issues related to the Care and Social Services Committee's areas of responsibility.
