As a school counsellor, you will be an important part of our student welfare team, where your primary role is to contribute to health-promoting and preventive student welfare work. We want to work proactively to identify needs early, strengthen protective factors, and create good conditions for students to feel well, feel safe, and reach their potential.\n\nWe are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent higher education and experience in supportive work with children and young people. Experience working in schools and collaborating with, for example, child and adolescent mental health services or social services is an asset.\n\nYou are confident, relationship-building, and solution-focused.\n\nYou can work independently but also thrive in close collaboration with others.\n\nAbove all, you have a genuine commitment to young people and a strong belief in each student's ability to develop and find their potential.\n\nYou must have excellent proficiency in both Swedish and English, as English is the working language in the staff group.\n\nWith us, you will have the opportunity to be part of developing student welfare work at a growing school and, together with an engaged team, build structures for strong preventive and health-promoting work.\n\nInterviews are conducted on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.\n\nPrior to employment, a valid extract from belastningsregistret for work in schools is required.\n\n\nInternationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff.
