As a school counselor, you will be an important part of the school's student support team (EHT) and will work closely with school leadership, teachers, special education staff, school nurses, and other members of the student support services.\n\nAbout the Position\n\nAs a school counselor, you will among other things:\n\n- Provide individual support and counseling sessions for students.\n- Work preventatively and promotively to strengthen students' well-being, attendance, and sense of safety at school.\n- Actively participate in the school's student support team (EHT).\n- Support and guide staff on matters relating to students' social and emotional needs.\n- Collaborate closely with students, guardians, and school staff.\n- Liaise with external organizations and authorities as needed, such as social services and child mental health services.\n- Contribute to the school's work on safety, attendance, and a conducive learning environment.\n- Manage relevant documentation in accordance with Swedish legislation and school procedures.\n\nWho Are You?\n\nWe are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and young people and who understands the importance of building strong and trusting relationships with students.\n\nYou are calm, professional, and approachable, while being confident in setting clear boundaries and working collaboratively with others.
