As a section manager in the unit, you will be part of a management group with 9 section managers, a management staff, and a unit manager. Our national mission is to provide job seekers and employers with uniform, efficient, and qualified employment services.\nJob Description\nAs a section manager within Vision Deaf Hearing, you will lead one of the Swedish Public Employment Service's special sections with specialist expertise in vision, deaf, and hearing areas. Employees include psychologists, audiologists, deaf consultants, vision specialists, and employment advisors with SIUS orientation (supported employment).\nThe section is part of the Eastern Sk\u00e5ne unit but operates across Region South and currently also in certain parts of Region East. The goal of our work is to create full participation and equality for people with the aforementioned disabilities by providing them with support and creating conditions for work or education.\nYour role as section manager involves operational and personnel responsibility for a section of approximately 25 employees located at various offices in our region. You are responsible for the section's results and contribute to the unit reaching its goals.\nAs section manager, you have an important responsibility to create well-functioning teams and, together with your employees, drive and develop operations. You enable strong performance, high job satisfaction, and a good work environment by working in accordance with the Swedish Public Employment Service's leadership criteria. You foster a culture characterized by trust, openness, and security. Your work takes place in strong partnership within and outside your section and in good collaboration with labor organizations. You are part of the unit manager's management group and will jointly with them and the other section managers be responsible for the entire unit's results and development.
