You'll build features end-to-end, from gathering and understanding requirements to deploying, monitoring and optimizing them in production.\nThe Opportunity\nTo step in when we're scaling up and where things actually happen\nThe mandate to make and execute on the small and big technical decisions that move our product forward\nA modern and evolving tech stack\n\nWe also offer part-ownership, an office in central Stockholm (Sturegatan) and 6 weeks of paid holiday. You also get an ITP occupational pension, fully covered breakfast and lunch, and a wellness allowance. You'll have everything you need from day one, with a complete hardware setup (Mac, Windows, or the Linux distro of your choice) and an environment where you have both the freedom and the trust to perform at your best. We operate with flexible working hours, with core time between 10:00 and 15:00, and we work four days a week from the office.\nYour Challenge\nYou'll work across the entirety of our product; the interface claims adjusters work in, the compensation logic behind it, the database it runs on and the infrastructure it deploys on. Our tech stack includes (among other things):\nNext.js 16\nTypeScript 6 (strict mode) and Node.js 24\nReact 19 \nPostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM \nVitest and Playwright \n\nIn terms of infrastructure, we use Docker and GitHub Actions CI\/CD, host on Clever Cloud, and utilize S3-compatible object storage. We use Sentry for monitoring.\nWe use Claude Code (Max 5x) and actively incorporate AI into our development workflow. We expect you to do the same and help us identify where AI can deliver the most value.\nThe Team and Workplace\nWe're a small tech team currently consisting of a Tech Lead, and we'll grow the team over time. We collaborate closely with our business side, consisting of our co-founders.\nIn terms of ways and tools of working, we use Slack and Google Workspace, Github for code reviews and project boarding, and a trunk-based version control management. \nAbout You\nYou have a university degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent relevant field, as well as 5+ years of professional development experience in the Next.js stack. You're fluent in English. Experience in the insurance field is a strong plus.\nAs a person and as a developer, you have a large interest in new tech as well as the curiosity, drive and ability to gain a deep understanding of things.
