This collaboration creates natural pathways for future career development, including potential transitions into business teams where your AI expertise will be highly valued.\nMain responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:\nDesign, develop, and scale transformative AI applications from concept to production to create technology that makes a real impact.\nTranslate ambiguous, open-ended business problems into well-defined machine learning problem statements in close collaboration with engineers and product teams.\nProvide input to the full modeling lifecycle: problem framing, hypothesis formulation, model selection, experimentation, evaluation and iteration.\nDevelop and implement advanced machine learning models and agentic solutions for various business applications.\nExplore emerging AI methods; share insights and build proofs of concept applicable to Nordea's use cases.\n\nWho you are\nYou will thrive in this role if you are excited to build AI solutions that solve real-world problems and drive meaningful change. You bring a growth mindset, collaborative problem-solving skills and excel at transforming complex technical concepts into clear solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.\nWe are looking for someone with most of the following experience and skills:\nBSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience\nStrong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Python, with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying AI\/ML solutions in production environments\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), with a focus on deploying and operating AI\/ML and data services at scale\nDeep understanding of machine learning and statistics, with the ability to turn a business problem into a modelling one\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders\nExcellent collaboration skills and experience working with diverse teams including data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders\n\nIt would be ideal if you also have:\nKnowledge of agent testing methodologies, performance monitoring and maintaining agent reliability in production environments\nExperience using agentic AI tools like Claude Code\/Cowork, OpenAI Codex\nExperience working in agile environments or tech-driven transformation projects\nFamiliarity with agent development frameworks and harnesses such as LangGraph, Deep Agents, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar, including multi-agent coordination and sub-agent delegation\nProfessional experience from working in regulated industries, e.g. banking, government, etc.\n\nWe encourage applications from candidates who are passionate about AI and meet most of these criteria.
