If you are motivated by engineering excellence and global impact, we would be happy to welcome you to our team\" - Farshad Abbasi, Manager Climate System\nThis role is based in Ludvika or V\u00e4ster\u00e5s, Sweden.\nHow you'll make an impact\nPerform the technical design and calculations of climate systems for HVDC converter stations, including reviewing designs, drawings, documentation, and technical specifications.\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure effective integration of climate systems within overall HVDC plant designs.\nSupport all project phases\u2014from tendering and conceptual design to detailed engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning\u2014ensuring quality and timely execution.\nConduct design reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements, ASHRAE standards, and internal guidelines.\nAssist with testing, verification, and performance validation during commissioning, including site inspections and on-site support.\nTranslate customer needs into reliable and compliant climate system solutions.\nContribute to continuous improvement efforts and mentor junior engineers to support technical development within the team.\n\nYour background\nBachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field with a focus on heat transfer and fluid mechanics.\nProven expertise in climate systems or HVAC equipment such as chillers, dehumidifiers, air handling units, and integrated monitoring and control sensors.\nSolid understanding of psychrometric charts, heat transfer (active\/passive), flow diagrams, and control systems.\nExperience working on large-scale engineering projects is an advantage.\nYou should ideally enjoy working in a multicultural environment and be able to express yourself in written and spoken English.
