With us, you get to work in an organization with short decision-making paths, significant personal responsibility, and close collaboration between operations, politics, and community development.\nTogether, we create sustainable and appropriate environments for the future of Sorsele.\n\nYour Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will, among other things:\nLead and coordinate the municipality's facility management process.\nBe responsible for the implementation of major facility, investment, and development projects.\nConduct needs analyses and preliminary studies together with operations.\nPrepare decision-making documents, investment calculations, and impact analyses.\nPlan, design, procure, and implement new construction, renovation, maintenance, sales, and demolition projects.\nBe responsible for project timelines, budgets, quality, and risk management.\nCoordinate and manage external consultants, contractors, and other suppliers.\nDevelop methods and approaches within facility strategy and facility management.\nMonitor and analyze facility efficiency and identify areas for development and improvement.\nPrepare and present matters to the management group, committees, and other decision-making bodies.\nContribute to the municipality's long-term work on sustainability, energy efficiency, and good resource management.\n\nYour Qualities\nYou are a confident and experienced project manager with a strong ability to create structure, engagement, and collaboration in complex processes. You thrive in a role where you switch between strategic analyses and practical implementation.\nTo succeed in this role, we see that you:\nFind it easy to build trusting relationships and create consensus among different stakeholders.\nAre self-driven, proactive, and drive work forward with clear results focus.\nAre analytical and have the ability to see the bigger picture and balance operational, economic, and technical perspectives.\nHave good communication skills and express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.\nAre organized, solution-oriented, and accustomed to handling multiple parallel processes simultaneously.\nHave a strong ability to present complex issues in a clear and pedagogical manner.\n\nCompetence and Qualifications\nWe are looking for someone who has:\nHigher education or university degree in community development, property economics, property management, building technology, project management, or other education\/experience that the employer deems equivalent.\nSeveral years of documented experience leading major projects within the property, construction, or community development sector.\nExperience with procurement, contractor matters, and financial follow-up.\nGood knowledge of project management and budget and investment processes.\nClass B driver's license.\n\nIt is meritorious if you have:\nExperience from municipal or other politically governed operations.\nExperience with facility management planning within the public sector.\nKnowledge of public procurement.\nExperience with change management and operations development.\nExperience with sustainability and energy efficiency projects.\n\nDuration\/Working Hours\nDuration: Permanent, Full-time (100%).
