We are looking for a Senior Resource Geologist to join our team on a one-year temporary contract.\n\nDescription\nAs a Senior Resource Geologist, you will work in close cooperation with our mines as well as exploration and technical departments to facilitate development across our mines and projects. The tasks are performed independently or as part of a project team. You will work with a variety of Boliden's operations and projects, and occasional travel may be required. We value a healthy work\u2013life balance, shared development and a supportive team.\n\nThe department provides expertise in project evaluation, modelling and resource estimation with the aim to support business-critical decisions in exploration and mining. The department also supports reporting in accordance with the PERC Reporting Standard.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\u00b7 Mentor less experienced resource geologists in the team.\n\u00b7 Perform resource estimation and geological modelling.\n\u00b7 Verify geological data.\n\u00b7 Support mine geology and exploration teams in their work processes and decision-making.\n\u00b7 Provide data for and contribute to technical studies.\n\u00b7 Prepare technical reports in English.\n\u00b7 Present results to both management and colleagues.\n\u00b7 Assist with the annual compilation of Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves.\n\nQualifications\n\n\u00b7 A BSc or higher degree in geoscience or another relevant field.\n\u00b7 At least five years of experience in resource estimation.
