Your responsibilities are to lead and develop the department in accordance with established goals, with responsibility for care and treatment for men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We have special expertise in medical care and can admit clients with mental health issues and violent behavior. We are mandated to provide care for clients with special care needs.\nJob Description\nLeads, plans, implements, follows up, and develops work in the department toward established goals and holds overall treatment responsibility for clients in the department.\nResponsible for your department and for your employees' work and work environment and ensures that operations are conducted efficiently in a way that achieves decided goals and that work is conducted in accordance with applicable law, SiS directives, operational plans, and special decisions.\nThe unit manager works in close collaboration with the department's group leaders and treatment secretaries.\nHolds operational responsibility, budget responsibility, and personnel responsibility for the department's employees.\nResponsible for anchoring and implementing the agency's decisions and regularly following up on operations conducted in the department.\nResponsible for ensuring that common work methods and practices are used and followed and supports employees in making decisions in daily work.\nLeads work in the department based on a developmental leadership approach in accordance with SiS leadership policy.\nResponsible for ensuring that employees in the department have the competence needed for the care and treatment the department provides and ensuring that employees have the prerequisites required to perform their tasks in a good and safe work environment.\nResponsible for the department's external contacts with, for example, social services.\nOther work tasks related to the role as needed to create good results.\nReports to the facility director and participates in the facility's management group and takes shared responsibility for overall operations.\nOn-call duty according to a rotating schedule.\n\nQualifications\nAt SiS, we value good leadership.
