We have 8 care beds and serve patients from across Dalarna. Teamwork is central, and all professional groups contribute to quality care. For us, it is important to care for patients, loved ones, and each other with professionalism, compassion, and respect. With a holistic view of the individual, our goal is to create security and good quality of life for the patient and their loved ones through high availability, participation, and continuity.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nWe are now seeking a registered nurse for our Palliative Care Unit. Care is focused on patients with severe symptoms who are in their final stage of life. Our ambition is to make the illness as manageable as possible for the patient and their loved ones.\n\nWe care for patients with varying diagnoses and complex symptoms. Standard nursing duties\u2014which involve a combination of medical technology and quality care. Some of our patients have, for example, central lines, drains, and receive medication via pump. We are looking for someone who is curious and open to challenges. Meeting seriously ill patients and their loved ones requires personal maturity and confidence in your professional role.\n\nQualifications\nRequirements:\nYou are a registered nurse with an interest in palliative care.\n\nIt is important that you are empathetic and have good communication with patients, loved ones, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your understanding of different social and cultural contexts.
