Together, you assess and treat patients in their homes, at accident scenes, and during transport to care facilities. You also perform patient transfers between different care facilities, both within and outside the county.\n\nIn your daily work, you meet all types of patients, and your role involves providing good and safe care based on the patient's needs. If you also have one of the following specialist qualifications, it will be considered a merit:\n\u2022 Ambulance Services\n\u2022 Anesthesia Care\n\u2022 Intensive Care\n\u2022 Emergency Care\n\nYou are an experienced driver and hold at least a Class B driving license. It is important that you are in good physical condition and have good physical work capacity, both for your sake and the patient's.\n\nAs a person, you are confident and stable with a good ability to separate the personal from the professional. It is important that you feel confident making your own decisions at work. The work also involves close teamwork, so you need good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly. As you meet patients and relatives daily, it is very important that you have an empathetic manner and treat people well. Working in ambulance services also requires personal maturity and good judgment.
