The operating room department at Angered Nearby Hospital is an organizational unit and employs approximately 35 employees who are responsible for the entire operating process. Here, operating room coordinators, anesthesiologists, nurses, nursing assistants, and unit managers work together with the patient in focus. At the operating room at Angered Nearby Hospital there are four operating rooms and a pre- and postoperative unit well adapted for the assignment.\nWe treat patients within the areas of surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, and urology both independently and in collaboration with Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Angered Operating Room also has a major assignment related to insertion and removal of port catheters. We operate on both children and adults.\nDescription\nWe are looking for you who are a nurse, preferably with specialist training in intensive care or other specialist training within the acute care field.\nJob Responsibilities\nYou will be responsible for pre- and postoperative care where you work both independently and in a team to meet the patient's needs.\nYou follow the patient from admission to discharge, which makes the work both enjoyable and inspiring, and you get confirmation that you have done a good job.\nQualifications\nNurse's degree with Swedish professional credentials is a requirement.\nSpecialist training in intensive care and work experience in day surgery or pre-\/postoperative care as well as experience caring for children in connection with surgery\/anesthesia are merits.\nGood knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is a requirement.
