Here we care for people in different phases of their illness \u2013 from newly diagnosed to long-term conditions, often with comorbidities with other conditions or diseases. As a nurse in psychosis care, you have a central role in both stabilizing and supporting the patient in their recovery process. You have a leadership role in nursing work, where the relationship with the patient is the foundation for meeting individual needs based on their unique life situation.\n\nYou work close to the patient and build safe relationships through conversation and presence \u2013 relationships that promote trust, participation, and recovery. The work is done in a team, and you are responsible for daily nursing care, which includes medication management, participation in rounds, reporting, and collaboration with other care providers.\n\nWe work creatively and with a resource-focused approach, with the patient's skills at the center. We use techniques, methods, approaches, interventions, and actions that are based in different areas of competence.
