You will have your own clinic and be responsible for planning and structuring your patient work. You schedule and follow up with patients, manage waiting lists, and ensure your schedule is used efficiently. Your tasks include supportive, caring, and follow-up conversations, health checks, medication administration, and evaluation of medication treatment.\nYou will work in close collaboration with the clinic team and with other healthcare providers. The role also includes telephone advice, administration in 1177, and documentation in the Cosmic medical records system.\nAbout the Workplace\nIn Region V\u00e4stmanland, all adult psychiatry is gathered in one organization, which creates favorable conditions for a well-functioning care chain and good collaboration between different units. Adult Psychiatry V\u00e4stmanland is divided into two sections: inpatient care and outpatient care. Inpatient care is located in V\u00e4ster\u00e5s and consists of five care wards and an emergency clinic. Adult psychiatric outpatient clinics are located in V\u00e4ster\u00e5s, K\u00f6ping, Fagersta, and Sala.\nThe clinic provides care to people with specialized psychiatric care needs that cannot be provided within primary care. Work is mainly conducted at the clinic, but home visits occur and are carried out together with a colleague. Meetings can also take place digitally.\nThe team includes physicians, nurses, psychologists, a social worker, an occupational therapist, and medical secretaries.
