Here we care for patients who need rapid assessment, treatment, and follow-up within a limited time. We have a large patient flow because the focus is on short stays and early decisions about next steps \u2013 discharge or continued care. We work closely with the rest of hospital care because our patients come from emergency care, outpatient clinics, or postoperative care and represent several different specialties.\n\nAs a registered nurse at AVA, you have nursing care responsibility and participate in patient-centered nursing care work in a team together with nursing assistants.
