The clinic has 15 care units and 2 outpatient clinics. Operations are spread across three facilities located at Helix, Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge, and L\u00f6wenstr\u00f6mska Hospital in Upplands V\u00e4sby.\nForensic Psychiatry Acute Unit (H1-H2)\nThe Forensic Psychiatry Acute Unit (H1-H2) is located at Helix in Flemingsberg and has the highest security level (1). The acute unit consists of two units and an observation unit where we admit newly admitted patients.\nIn our operations, we daily meet patients suffering from serious mental disorders, often in combination with somatic health issues. Our unit receives and cares for acutely mentally ill patients primarily under the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV). We care for patients recently sentenced to forensic psychiatric care, patients who are detained or clients of the correctional service in need of psychiatric involuntary care, and we also receive patients whose condition has deteriorated during care on our units as well as patients from our forensic psychiatric outpatient clinic.\nMore information about us and Helix can be found here: Jobba p\u00e5 Helix i Huddinge\nJob Responsibilities\nAs a nurse with us, you are offered stimulating and varied work. You have a clear central leadership function on the unit with primary responsibility for care planning and oversee a care team together with a number of nurses\/nursing assistants. As a nurse, you act confidently in acute situations and you are part of a team of physicians, psychologists, mental health nurses\/nursing assistants, social workers, and occupational therapists to together create the best possible care for our patients.\nYou will be given individualized orientation, and thereafter we offer a salary supplement that is unique to the acute unit. As a nurse, you hold expanded leadership responsibility during evenings and weekends.
