The specialized geriatric care at Ersta Hospital is characterized by a holistic view of the person that encompasses all aspects of life. The team consists of physicians, nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, and administrators with high expertise in geriatric care.\nWe are now planning to open a smaller care unit with eight beds. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on patient care and contribute with your clinical judgment in the team's collaborative work.\nThe role combines patient-facing work with coordination and close collaboration with other professions. You will meet elderly patients with varying and often complex care needs and play an important role in creating security and continuity throughout the care journey.\nSince the unit is new, you will have the opportunity to shape work methods and routines from the start. You will also receive support from a coordinator who facilitates the admission and discharge process, so you can spend more time on the patient and clinical work.\nWe are seeking nurses for both day\/evening and night shifts. Full-time corresponds to 37 hours per week for two-shift work and 33.33 hours per week for night shift work.
