You will work at B\u00e4ckaskolan F-6 in Gnosj\u00f6. The school has approximately 320 students and approximately 45 teachers work here.\n\n1 position(s).\n\nDUTIES\nAs a school counselor, you will be part of the school's student health team. You will bring a counselor perspective to student health matters and work with school attendance. Your duties also include preventive values-based work and safety initiatives.\n\nAccording to the Education Act, student health services should primarily work on health promotion and prevention. The school counselor brings psychosocial expertise to the school at the individual, group, and organizational level and works on behalf of the principal.\n\nAs a school counselor, you work based on proven experience and evidence with psychosocial interventions directed at groups or individual students. Your duties include conducting group-based interventions, having individual conversations with students, conducting assessments, and supervising staff in certain matters. The role also includes contacting other agencies such as BUP (Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) and social services.\n\nYou will receive group supervision and maintain contact with other counselors in the municipality for collaboration and experience exchange.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nWe are looking for someone who is educated as a social worker or has other education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous experience as a counselor and\/or experience working with children and young people is seen as an asset.\n\nYou are comfortable working with both smaller and larger groups of students and staff. Arbetsuppgifterna innefattar \u00e4ven f\u00f6rebyggande v\u00e4rdegrundsarbete och trygghetsarbete.\n\nEnligt skollagen ska elevh\u00e4lsan fr\u00e4mst arbeta h\u00e4lsofr\u00e4mjande och f\u00f6rebyggande. Skolkuratorn tillf\u00f6r skolan psykosocial kompetens p\u00e5 individ-, grupp- och organisationsniv\u00e5 och arbetar p\u00e5 uppdrag av rektor.\n\nSom skolkurator arbetar du utifr\u00e5n bepr\u00f6vad erfarenhet och evidens med psykosociala insatser direkt riktade till grupper eller enskilda elever. I arbetsuppgifterna ing\u00e5r bl.a. att g\u00f6ra gruppinriktade insatser, ha enskilda samtal med elever, genomf\u00f6ra kartl\u00e4ggningar och att handleda personal i vissa \u00e4renden. I uppdraget ing\u00e5r \u00e4ven att ha kontakter med andra instanser som t.ex. BUP och socialtj\u00e4nsten.\n\nDu f\u00e5r handledning i grupp och har \u00e4ven kontakt med \u00f6vriga kuratorer i kommunen f\u00f6r samverkan och erfarenhetsutbyte.\r\n\r\nKVALIFIKATIONER\r\nVi s\u00f6ker dig som \u00e4r utbildad socionom, eller har annan utbildning som arbetsgivaren bed\u00f6mer som likv\u00e4rdig.
