You work to remove obstacles to learning and contribute to students' development and health through your expertise. The counselor is a natural member of the school's student health team and works in a health-promoting, preventive, and intervention-focused manner in the student health mission.\nAs a counselor, you are an expert within the school on social work and social legislation. You participate in the school's planning, implementation, and evaluation of norm-critical value-based work and work against harassment and discrimination. You are also a consultative support and mentor other staff on these issues.\nAs a counselor, you offer support, motivational conversations, and crisis counseling related to school-related matters to individual students, groups, or guardians. You have previous experience working with supportive conversations and health-promoting work. Prior experience as a school counselor is considered a merit.\nSince you are responsible for written documentation in this position, and since language is one of your most important work tools, the position requires good knowledge of Swedish both in speaking and writing.
