Since both schools are part of the same school area and share a common student health team, there is close collaboration between the schools.\nAs a school nurse, you work closely with student health personnel, school staff, and leadership to create the best possible conditions for student health and learning. As a school nurse, you also collaborate with guardians and external authorities. By placing health and learning in context, you as a school nurse contribute to student well-being and their opportunity to achieve educational goals.\nYou participate in the schools' student health meetings and provide medical expertise in various contexts where you collaborate with educators, principals, and others in promotion and prevention efforts. You conduct analyses of how students' medical history and current situation affect the need for support and interventions at the individual, group, and organizational levels.\nYou work preventively and with health promotion based on the regulations in the Health and Medical Care Act and the Education Act, guidance for student health, and Gothenburg City's Methodological Support for the medical component of student health. This includes health visits, health conversations, vaccinations, and matters concerning students' work environment.
