The school has a Movement and Health profile, which means we promote movement and health to strengthen learning and inspire a healthy lifestyle.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs a school social worker, your main responsibilities will include:\n- Strengthen the school's health-promoting and preventive student wellness work with focus on the psychosocial environment.\n- Provide teachers with guidance and support in social matters not directly related to teaching.\n- Serve as coordinator within the local student wellness team, identifying needs at individual and group levels and referring to appropriate professionals.\n- Monitor the external environment and organize professional development for teachers and other school staff.\n- Coordinate contacts between the school, social services, preventive units, police, and the regional health authority.\n- Collaborate with and provide counseling to students and guardians.\n- Work closely with school leadership.\n\nYour Profile\n\nYou have a social worker degree, at minimum a bachelor's degree.\nYou have worked as a social worker in social services, schools, or the regional health authority for at least 4 years.\nYou are skilled at analyzing situations and causes of problems, identifying needs, and systematically working with preventive and corrective measures at individual and group levels both independently in your professional role and in collaboration with others.\nYou have experience working within the Education Act, school regulations, discrimination legislation, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Your work areas range from a comprehensive whole-school perspective to individually targeted interventions.\nYou have strong knowledge in behavioral and social sciences, law, developmental psychology, social change work, and psychosocial work.
