Therefore, we are now seeking 1\u20132 protection assistants for hourly positions as needed who want to contribute to our daily work and continued journey.\nThis is a role for someone who already has experience working with people with protection needs and feels comfortable in this type of environment.\nAbout the Role\nAs a protection assistant, you are an important part of the daily work at Carria. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to a safe, stable, and secure everyday life for our clients.\nThe role is varied, and work tasks are based on the facility's and clients' current needs. This may include being available to clients, providing practical and social support, contributing to structure in daily life, following security procedures, observing changes, and passing relevant information on to responsible colleagues.\nDocumentation and other practical tasks are also included as needed to ensure daily operations and the facility function smoothly.\nYou will not have individual client responsibility, but will work as part of the team according to the facility's routines, planning, and your area of responsibility. On-call duty is part of the role according to a fixed schedule.\nFor us, it's important that you see what needs to be done, take responsibility, and know when something needs to be escalated.\nWe Are Looking for You If\nThe role requires higher education of at least 180 credits, such as a degree in social work, behavioral science, or other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent.\nYou also need prior experience working with people in vulnerable life situations. We are not looking for someone who wants to try this field for the first time.\nExperience from, for example, secure housing, intimate partner violence, honor-based violence and oppression, social services, HVB (youth homes), supported housing, women's shelters, or other organizations with a protection and security focus is particularly relevant.\nYou have a good understanding of what it means to meet people who may be in crisis, distress, or under threat, and you understand the importance of security, confidentiality, integrity, and a professional approach.\nYou have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and a valid B-class driver's license is required.\nIt Is an Advantage If You Have Experience With\nSecure housing and security work.\nIntimate partner violence, as well as honor-based violence and oppression.\nSocial services work and official duties.\nHVB or supported housing.\nCrisis and trauma work.\nChildren and families in vulnerable life situations.\nRisk assessment and security planning.\nCoordination with social services, police, schools, healthcare, or other community organizations.\nSocial documentation and implementation plans.\nMultilingualism, in addition to Swedish and English.\nKnowledge of or experience with tools such as FREDA, PATRIARK, SARA, SAM, BRA, TMO, or MI.\n\nWho Are You?\nWe believe you are secure, calm, and responsible.
