For over ten years, we have provided shelter for people in need of protection. We are a team of approximately ten people, and we are now seeking a new colleague for our communal housing!\n\n\nWe have chosen to keep the facility name confidential to protect the locations where we operate. Those invited for interviews will be informed of the name of the secure housing facility.\n\n\nThe position we are filling is at our communal housing located in central Scania. The position involves scheduled work hours (day, evening, night, and weekends).\n\n\nABOUT THE ORGANIZATION\n\n\nOur secure housing consists of a 24-hour staffed communal housing facility and protected apartments. We recently received IVO approval, and with new framework agreements, the organization is entering an exciting development phase with good growth opportunities in an expanding organization.\n\n\nThe communal housing provides shelter for women and children in need of protection from violence in close relationships and\/or honor-related violence and oppression. Dogs, cats, and other small pets are welcome to stay at the facility.\nThe communal housing has spacious common areas, counseling rooms, children's rooms, and a large kitchen. Residents have their own rooms with attached bathrooms. The facility is located in a natural setting with proximity to the city.\nIn the protected apartments, we also accommodate male individuals seeking protection and other target groups such as defectors.\nOur team consists of highly committed individuals with compassion, knowledge, and good communication skills. The team includes several protection consultants working scheduled hours (communal housing), protection consultants working daytime hours (protected apartments), a child welfare specialist, a team leader, a security officer, and an operations manager\/director.\n\n\nSince we daily meet people in need of protection in difficult situations, it is essential that we have strong commitment to helping people fleeing violence, threats, and oppression. We willingly go the extra mile for both residents and our commissioning parties (placing municipalities). We take great pride and satisfaction in our work with the hope that we can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable people.\n\n\nWe are a flat organization that enables participation from both staff and protection seekers. We particularly welcome candidates with several years of experience from either HVB (residential care) or secure housing.\n\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nThe position includes tasks such as\n\n\n\u00b7      Supporting protection seekers in establishing and maintaining safety according to our procedures and checklists.\n\n\n\u00b7      Working in a motivating and supportive manner with women and children in crisis.\n\u00b7     Being a contact person for residents and collaborating with the security officer, child welfare specialist (if there are children in the family), and other team members.\n\n\n\u00b7     Assisting residents with daily tasks, which may include transportation and shopping.\n\n\n\n\n\u00b7      Writing implementation plans, monthly reports, final reports, and maintaining ongoing social documentation.\n\n\n\u00b7      Some cleaning and housekeeping work is included in the position.\n\n\n\u00b7      Carrying out interventions according to the implementation plan.\n\n\n\u00b7      Actively participating in weekly meetings, workplace training, and supervision.\n\n\n\u00b7     Participating in startup meetings, follow-up meetings, and closing meetings with residents and social services.\n\n\n\u00b7      Maintaining ongoing contact with placing social services, based on contact person responsibilities.\n\n\n\u00b7     Collaborating with other actors such as healthcare and government agencies.\n\n\n\u00b7      Actively contributing to strengthening team spirit within the work group.\n\u00b7   Possibly participating in client pick-up\/drop-off.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n\u00b7       Relevant post-secondary education of at least 2 years in social work, such as treatment pedagogue, social worker, or behavioral scientist.\n\n\n\u00b7       At least one year of work experience in secure housing or similar activities such as HVB.\n\n\n\u00b7       Approved background check from the Police.\n\n\n\u00b7       B-class driver's license\n\n\nDesirable and Meritorious:\n\n\n\u00b7      You are over 25 years old to match our target group.\n\n\n\u00b7      Training in risk assessment tools such as FREDA, PATRIARK, SARA, SAM. Hund och katt samt andra sm\u00e5djur \u00e4r v\u00e4lkomna att f\u00f6lja med till boendet.\nP\u00e5 kollektivboendet finns rymliga gemenskapslokaler, samtalsrum, barnrum samt stort k\u00f6k. De boende har egna rum med tillh\u00f6rande badrum. Kollektivet ligger naturn\u00e4ra med n\u00e4rhet till stad.\nI skyddsl\u00e4genheterna tar vi \u00e4ven emot manliga skyddss\u00f6kande samt andra m\u00e5lgrupper som exempelvis avhoppare.\nVi som arbetar i verksamheten \u00e4r ett team med stortengagemang, omtanke, kunskap och god kommunikation. Teamet best\u00e5r av ett antal skyddskonsulenter som jobbar schemalagd arbetstid (kollektivet), skyddskonsulenter som jobbar dagtid (skyddsl\u00e4genheterna) samt en barnansvarig, en teamledare, en s\u00e4kerhetsansvarig samt en verksamhetschef\/f\u00f6rest\u00e5ndare. \n\n\nD\u00e5 vi dagligen m\u00f6ter personer med skyddsbehov i en sv\u00e5r situation, \u00e4r det avg\u00f6rande att vi har ett starkt engagemang att vilja hj\u00e4lpa m\u00e4nniskor som flyr fr\u00e5n v\u00e5ld, hot och f\u00f6rtryck. Vi g\u00f6r g\u00e4rna det lilla extra f\u00f6r b\u00e5de de boende och v\u00e5ra uppdragsgivare (placerande\nkommuner).
