You are part of the school's student welfare team and, together with the principal and assistant principal, you work on the school's safety initiatives. You are involved in efforts to increase class attendance, handle and investigate bullying cases, and support and coach students in their social and emotional development. An important part of your role is to build trusting relationships with the students.\nAs a social pedagogue, you work closely with students and promote their well-being in the school environment. You are a safe adult that students can turn to. In addition to providing support during class time, you will spend parts of your workday in the school's common areas and cafeteria.\nQualifications\nYou ideally have a higher education degree in social pedagogy, but with relevant professional experience, a post-secondary social pedagogy education or social pedagogy education from a folk high school is also acceptable, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.\nAs a person, you are flexible, action-oriented, cooperative, and patient.
