Our social secretaries typically have around 8-12 ongoing cases each. The low caseload creates room for close and qualitative social work: meeting children in their everyday lives, making home visits, collaborating with the family's network, and beginning change work already during the investigation period.\nWe want an investigation to be more than a mapping. Contact with social services should be able to make a difference here and now. Therefore, we work actively and preventively together with the child, family, and other important people around them.\nTrosa is a smaller municipality, which gives us close leadership, short decision paths, and close collaboration between colleagues and activities.
