Your task is to safely conduct pre-assessments, investigations, assessments, make decisions, and follow up on interventions for children and young people aged 0-18 years.\n\nYour assignment will also include overall responsibility for collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.\n\nThe work includes:\n\n\u2022 Handling investigations and interventions for children and young people.\n\u2022 Assessing protection needs and support measures for children, young people, and their families.\n\u2022 Preventive work and collaboration with open services, schools, healthcare, and other stakeholders.\n\u2022 Decision-making and follow-up on approved interventions and placed children.\n\u2022 Cooperation with colleagues and coordinators to ensure legally sound and efficient handling.\n\u2022 Working with structured interventions, such as placements and support to foster families.\n\u2022 In this role, you will also work closely with the reception function, family law secretaries, and foster care secretaries, where collaboration within and between groups is a natural part of daily work.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nWe are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of current social legislation, are motivated to engage with the new Social Services Act, and preferably have experience working in children and youth services.
