As a social secretary with us, we offer meaningful work where you get to help our children and young people achieve better living conditions.\nFor those interested in working as a social secretary with a focus on investigations:\n\nAs an investigator, you primarily work with investigating Children and Young People ages 0-20 and following up on open care services. However, follow-up of placed children does occur and you work with both SOL and LVU.\nFor those interested in working as a social secretary with a focus on follow-ups:\n\nAs a follow-up specialist, you primarily work with following up on Children and Young People ages 0-20 who are in municipal care, including foster families, HVB, and supported housing. However, investigation work does occur and you work with both SOL and LVU.\nThe investigation and follow-up units consist of several teams with social secretaries who work either investigating reports and applications or following up on children in municipal care. The team is led by a Senior Social Secretary. Within the group, we share responsibility for our cases. This gives us good opportunities to maintain high quality in our work, develop our methods, and collaborate with the user in focus.\nOur office is located in central Link\u00f6ping and working hours are Monday-Friday 7:50-17:00, which allows for shorter workdays during the summer months. We apply flexible work agreements and work in newly renovated open office landscapes at Drottninggatan 45.\nYour workplace\nAt the workplace there are four investigation and follow-up units. The department is tasked with investigating, following up, implementing, and providing services based on the target group's needs, as well as conducting quality and development work with a focus on children and young people.\nThe department consists of approximately 210 employees. The department also includes units for Recruitment and Matching, Housing, and Open Care. The department is led by a Department Head and 8 Unit and Operations Managers as well as 13 Team Leaders and Senior Social Secretaries.\nThe department collaborates with other departments, for example the Close Social Services department where our reception services for children and adults are organized, as well as family law and other open care services.\nAbout you\nWe are looking for someone with a degree in social work or a behavioral science degree with courses in social work, social law, administrative law, and psychology. Previous experience working with authority administration or work experience in social work with children and young people is considered meritorious.\nYou need a driver's license (category B) as travel occurs in the work. Good knowledge of Swedish in speaking and writing is required as the role of social secretary involves documentation and contact with authorities.\nTo succeed in the role, we see that you are secure and stable and view relationships in their proper perspective.
