As a Social Secretary for Children and Youth, you will be part of a work group with seven engaged social secretaries and a Senior Social Secretary who work with investigations of children and youth aged 0-18 years. Your work tasks involve conducting investigations based on incoming concern reports and applications regarding children and young people's situations and need for support according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act. You will also conduct follow-ups of open care measures and institutional placements. Your work tasks also include cooperating with, for example, preschools, schools, healthcare, and police. Within the unit, we have close collaboration and help each other, which contributes to continuous learning at work. We work according to clear routines and processes that we continuously develop and improve.\n\nOur primary focus is to conduct good social work. For us in Children and Youth, this means implementing investigation processes that should be beneficial for families' change work. You can easily adapt your work approach to changed conditions and take action to promote your own development and continued learning. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and care about creating good relationships. You also have the ability to work independently in your case management and have a sense of responsibility for the authority work you perform.\n\nWe welcome you who have a social work degree and experience with authority work. It is meritorious to have experience with assessments, decision proposals, and follow-up of support measures according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act for children and youth.
