Welcome to join us!\nYour responsibilities\nAs a family support consultant with us, you offer help and support to individuals who contact the Family Support Center. A family member can be a parent, partner, child, sibling, or friend. A family member does not need to live in Link\u00f6ping Municipality to receive support or help. We offer, among other things, individual conversations, group activities such as body balance, walks, watercolor painting, book circles, and various support groups for family members of people with mental health issues, substance abuse problems, dementia, and NPF. We converse with and support family members who feel worried about a loved one or perhaps need support themselves to cope. Through massage and health-promoting activities, the aim is to alleviate worry and stress and enable the individual to achieve increased relaxation, rest, and recovery.\nWe also offer bereavement support for family members who are in crisis and grief and who have lost a loved one and need someone to talk to. We reach out to all family members over 18 years of age who need support, regardless of whether your loved one has a specific diagnosis. Support conversations do not always have to take place in person; we also offer contact via telephone and digital meetings.\nThe purpose of the various services we provide is to start from the current life situation of the participant in the conversations, where participants can also exchange experiences and support with other participants in group activities.\nYour workplace\nThis position is placed within the Nearby Social Services department, which is part of the Social Services Administration. The department offers early, preventive, and primarily non-needs-assessed services for all ages within the social services' mission.\nThe work team consists of four employees. Working hours are scheduled for both daytime and evening shifts, currently with one evening shift per week related to our group activities. It is meritorious if you have experience with reception services, and if you have previously worked with family member support.
