We are a social service that is at the forefront of prevention work and in the transition to an even more accessible and knowledge-based social service.\n\n\r\n\r\n1 position(s). \r\n\r\n\nAbout the Workplace\r\n\r\nThe Children's Unit is part of the Children and Youth Section within Individual and Family Care (IFO). We work with investigation and follow-up of services according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young People Act. The target group is families with children aged 0-12 years and their networks.\r\nOur primary focus is to conduct good social work. New employees have good collegial support from their colleagues and supervisors. The unit is divided into four smaller groups with a group leader in each group to provide close support to the social secretaries. As a rule, social secretaries work in pairs.\nWe have an introduction program that extends over the first year of employment and includes individually tailored introduction as well as group training. If you are more experienced, we will together create a long-term development plan to best promote your continued development. All groups have external supervision and ongoing skills development. We are proud of the work we do and we want to continue to work for continuous improvement. We work together across the unit on methodology and development issues. In our unit, you have great scope to use your knowledge and you are responsible, together with your colleagues in your group, for conducting social work in a lawful, professional manner, and with good interaction.\nWe are located in pleasant premises, together with a colleague or in a private office, in Flemingsberg, one of the municipality's most expansive areas, with good communications and proximity to both nature and important hubs such as Huddinge Hospital and S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University.\r\n\r\nAbout the Work\r\n\r\nWe are looking for committed employees who want to conduct qualified investigation work and take responsibility for follow-up of services. We work to increase children's sense of security and stability in their home environment and to encourage and strengthen families' own resources. The social secretaries have practical support from an administrative handler and support in the form of a clerk who in certain cases writes our decision documents. Two of our social secretaries have assignments as home investigators. A coordinator for Barnahus also belongs to the unit. We work according to the Signs of Safety approach, which all employees receive training in. We also have social secretaries who coach in this approach.
