Here, social secretaries work with the task of receiving, investigating, and assessing the need for services for adults, supported by the Social Services Act and the Act on Care of Substance Abusers. The work is led by a unit manager and two senior social secretaries, as well as a coordinator for violence in close relationships. As a social secretary within economic assistance, your task consists of investigating the right to economic assistance based on applicable legislation while supporting, motivating, and following up on the planning that the person has to achieve their own income. You make decisions about and follow up on labor market initiatives and work together with the person and important cooperation partners to reach the goal of self-sufficiency.\n\nYour duties include working preventively by early identifying the need for other support measures and collaborating with other actors, both internally and externally. You will have the opportunity to perform practical social work in meetings with citizens and opportunities to engage in various tasks that promote both the activity's and your own development.
