Interviews may be held on a rolling basis during the application period.\nYour New Job\nAs a social worker at FHC, you will work together with your colleagues to meet individuals and families interested in becoming foster families\u2014an additional family when a child cannot live with their biological parents. FHC investigates and trains these families, and the families being investigated may be located within the region or elsewhere in the country, which means the work sometimes involves travel and overnight stays. Your responsibilities also include receiving placement requests for children and young people and matching them with available foster families.\nThe work is interesting and rewarding as you will meet foster families who want to help and support children and young people who haven't had the best start in life.
