Crisis Center Housing Heder is an HVB (home for care or housing) for young people with legal gender female, ages 14\u201322, who are victims of honor-related violence and oppression or intimate partner violence and have protection needs.\nAll placements are preceded by contact with social services and can occur either as planned or emergency placements, 24 hours a day. Staff assist in assessing protection needs.\nJob Responsibilities\nAs a social worker on night shifts, you work in a team of five colleagues with a rotating schedule. Work shifts are scheduled either from 4:00 PM\u20133:00 AM (followed by on-call availability until 7:00 AM) or between 8:00\/8:30 PM\u20137:15 AM.\nDuring parts of the night, you work together on-site. Between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM, one social worker works alone in the facility but always has access to an on-call colleague reachable by phone and available to come on-site if needed. Additionally, a manager is available on-call for support and guidance.\nDuring the night, you primarily engage in informational and supportive conversations, on-call phone conversations, documentation, and collaboration with Social On-Call Services. The work also includes practical tasks in the housing facility and calming activities for children and young adults in the evenings. It is important that night staff encourage the placed youth to go to bed at a reasonable time, as sleep is often crucial for their wellbeing. It is also important to have good understanding of crisis and trauma.\nQualifications\nWe seek someone with a degree in social work or equivalent higher education degree in social work (180 credits) or a vocational education (YH) degree (400 yh credits) as a social pedagogue, plus at least two years of current experience in relevant social work.
