We receive and process reports and applications for children and young people ages 0\u201320. Our tasks include:\n- conducting initial safety assessments\n- performing preliminary assessments\n- providing information, consultation, advice, and referring people to the right office within social services and\/or other activities.\n\nYou will also work together with your colleagues and manager to develop collaboration and consultation with internal and external partners. For example, with preschools, schools, and other professionals to inform about the duty to report and how social services operates.\nAs a social secretary in the reception team, you are an important part of social services' public face. In the reception team, we collaborate extensively with other social secretaries in the unit. We work according to BBIC and to create good meetings with children, young people, and their families, we use various methods and conversation tools, where Signs of Safety is a cornerstone. We also actively work to involve children and young people in our preliminary assessments.\n\nWho Are We Looking For?\nWe seek someone who has:\n- a degree in social work\n- experience with public authority functions regarding children and youth within social services\n- a B-class driver's license.\n\nIt is also a merit if you have experience in investigation and documentation as well as network work and Signs of Safety.\nYou are interested in development work and enjoy varied tasks. You need to be flexible and able to easily adapt to changing circumstances. To function well in this role, you need to be solution-focused and able to make decisions despite pressured situations.\nAs a person, you are confident, stable, have personal maturity, and a structured way of working. You should be able to work independently while also checking in with your closest colleagues and section manager to ensure lawful public authority functions.
