The area also includes Family Law, Field Work, Parental Advisors, and SIG Adults.\nWhat we offer\nAs a new member of our team, you will receive an introduction plan that is reviewed together with your team leader and unit manager. The introduction is tailored to your experience, and you will receive close supervision and support based on your needs.\nThe Reception Unit Children and Youth in J\u00e4rva:\nparticipates during 2026 as a pilot district in the transition to the new social services act\ndevelops work methods for close collaboration and early support to children, young people, and families\nworks according to Signs of Safety principles and tools\ncollaborates with police, health and medical care, schools, and preschools\noffers regular check-ins, internal and external supervision, and further training\nhas a clear structure for case processing.\n\nWe also offer wellness contributions, opportunity for holiday exchange, flexible working hours, and some remote work when the work allows.\nYour role\nThe Reception Unit receives reports and applications concerning children and young people aged 0\u201320 years. You work with, among other things, initial safety assessments, reports and applications, and provide information, consultation, and advice. You guide people to the right support within social services or other operations.\nCollaboration with, for example, schools, preschools, police, and health and medical care is an important part of the work.\nAs a social secretary in the reception team, you are part of an on-call function, which means that work outside regular working hours may occur. The work is planned collectively, but you also need to be able to handle acute situations.
