We warmly welcome your application!\n\nThe Role of Social Secretary\n\nAs a social secretary, you will receive incoming reports and applications concerning children and young people aged 0-20 and conduct preliminary assessments to determine whether to initiate an investigation. You will also conduct urgent safety assessments for more serious reports. As part of preliminary assessments, you will speak with children, young people, and their parents about their situation. This also includes consultation with other professionals and community members.\n\nWe function as a consultation and support resource, referring both community members and other professionals to appropriate services when needed. The unit consists of three groups: the prevention team, the reception group for children and youth, and the open care group for children and youth. The unit is part of the first-line social service for children and youth and is led by a unit manager. It is a new working method aimed at supporting the municipality's children and families in an earlier, more coordinated and efficient way.
