With us, you will meet adults with needs related to substance abuse issues, mental health problems, and criminal behavior. The assignment includes qualified investigation, assessment, and follow-up of interventions according to the Social Services Act and the Act on Care of Drug Abusers, in close collaboration with internal and external partners.\n\nIn your work, you will use evidence-based methods such as Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Addiction Severity Index (ASI) to assess needs, strengthen motivation, and contribute to lasting change. The work also includes follow-ups at treatment homes around the country, which is why it is an advantage if you have a B-class driving license.\n\nYour main responsibilities are:\n\nReceive, review, and assess incoming reports and applications in accordance with current legislation\nConduct home visits and outreach activities\nInvestigate clients' need for support according to the Social Services Act or the Act on Care of Drug Abusers\nGrant and follow up on interventions according to laws and guidelines\nCollaborate internally and externally to ensure coordinated interventions\nDocument securely in the Lifecare case management system\n\nAs a social secretary, you will work closely with our open care unit for adults, our residential support teams, and other units within the department.
