The other Fridays you are off.\nDuring 2025, the case load in investigations of children and youth has been around 10 ongoing investigations as primary case manager per social secretary \u2013 clearly below our benchmark of 12\u201315 cases per case manager.\nThis creates very good conditions for a sustainable work environment, while we can direct full focus to our core mission \u2013 ensuring each child's needs with high quality, legal certainty and good goal achievement.\nIn the children and youth unit, we work with authority functions for children and youth with a focus on ensuring that children and youth have a safe and stable upbringing. Our task is to investigate children's situations and make legally certain assessments according to the Social Services Act and LVU. The work is based on BBIC and we actively work to involve children, family and network in the process. As an approach, we use Signs of Safety and we place great emphasis on identifying the family's own resources and solutions.\nLeadership is characterized by accessibility and closeness to the operations. Group leaders and unit managers are available to support daily work and contribute to structure, quality and development in the assignment. We actively work to create a sustainable work environment where support, collaboration and reflection are a natural part of the work.\nYour Assignment\nAs a social secretary in the investigation and intervention unit, you work with authority functions for children and youth. Your main task is to investigate children's situations and make legally certain assessments according to the Social Services Act and LVU. The work involves gathering information through conversations with children, guardians and networks as well as through collaboration with, for example, schools, healthcare and other authorities.\nYou are responsible for planning, conducting and documenting investigations according to BBIC as well as formulating assessments and decision-making bases. The work also includes writing statements to other authorities and contributing to ensuring that the family's own resources and network are utilized in the work.\nYou work in a team together with a colleague and have close support from the group leader in your daily work. The role involves considerable personal responsibility for driving cases forward in a structured and legally certain manner. At the same time, you are expected to contribute to the team's joint work through collaboration, reflection and knowledge sharing.\nWe expect you to work from a professional and respectful approach in meeting with children, youth and their families and to actively contribute to the development of operations and a good work environment in the group.\nYour Experience\nSocial work degree\nAt least three years of experience with authority functions within social services' child and youth care.\nExperience handling and investigating cases according to the Social Services Act and LVU.\nBasic training in BBIC.\nClass B driver's license.\nGood ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing in Swedish.\nDocumented experience of conversations with children and youth.\n\nMeritorious:\nBasic training and experience working according to Signs of Safety.\nTraining in or experience with Motivational Interviewing (MI).\nExperience with coordination or work with SIP (Coordinated Individual Plan).\nExperience working with the Combine operations system\n\nYour Personal Qualities\nWe are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility for your own work.
