We welcome you who want to make a difference for the residents of the Northern inner city.\nWelcome to the Reception Unit for Children and Youth!\nThe Children and Family Operations area in the Northern inner city consists of five units; the Reception Unit for Children and Youth, three investigation units, and foster care\/contact services and family law. Our operations area is led by an area manager and five unit managers. Within the area also work one group leader and three mentors.\nAt the reception unit, nine experienced social secretaries, one group leader, and one unit manager work together. There is a positive atmosphere at the unit and we help each other handle difficult assessments and value our different experiences in the group.\nWe are now seeking a temporary replacement for one year, with the possibility of extension.\nYour Role\nThe role primarily involves:\nHandling reports of concern and applications\nBeing responsible for the duty phone, which is open during office hours\nHaving a consulting role and guiding both professionals and private individuals who contact the duty line with concerns about a child\nHaving conversations with children, young people, and their parents\nContinuously making safety assessments and handling unforeseen situations\n\nYour Experience and Competence\nWe are looking for you who have:\nA degree in social work.\nExperience in reception work or investigation experience within children and youth services.\nGood knowledge of the Social Services Act and the Act with Special Provisions on the Care of Young People.\nGood ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.\n\nWe at the Reception Unit for Children and Youth are often the first contact families meet when they come into contact with social services. We are therefore looking for you who are confident and stable in your professional role and who can maintain a professional approach regardless of the situation. You have a good ability to quickly establish contact with people in vulnerable situations and have good collaboration skills.
