To meet today's and tomorrow's challenges, we need to expand our operations and are now seeking specialist physicians\/ST physicians in oncology.\nOur oncology clinic includes an oncology outpatient clinic, chemotherapy clinic, radiation therapy department, palliative care team, and an inpatient ward for oncological and specialized palliative care. Chemotherapy clinics are also located at Arvika and Torsby hospitals. The oncology clinic has approximately 150 employees. The physician group consists of 33 physicians, of which 11 are ST physicians.\nWith us, you will become an important part of an engaged and competent work team where collaboration, development, and patient focus are central. If you are a specialist, we offer you the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of our operations, mentor colleagues, and deepen your knowledge in your areas of interest. If you are an ST physician, you are expected to take responsibility for your development toward specialist competence, with strong collegial support along the way.\nAs an ST physician, working closely with our ST study director and your supervisor, you will develop an individual development plan that meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's objectives. Regardless of experience level, we offer a stimulating work environment with excellent opportunities for professional development, research, education, and clinical development.\nYour Work Tasks\nAs a physician in the oncology clinic, you will be offered broad and varied work with assignments in the inpatient ward, outpatient clinic, and radiation therapy department. We have on-call services during day and evening hours as well as weekends. For ST physicians, introduction to on-call work occurs in stages with support from experienced colleagues. Specialist physicians have the opportunity to take an active role in the development of operations and contribute with mentoring and knowledge transfer to younger colleagues.\nRotations for ST physicians can be conducted both at the university hospital and at Central Hospital in Karlstad.
